For many years the name « Galerie Bailly » rhymed with Old Master
paintings discoveries thanks to Charles Bailly, one of the most important
art dealer and discoverer in old master paintings. Today, the gallery
takes a brand new direction under the impulse of his daughter and
gets involve in modern and contemporary art. Hélène Bailly was raised
among artists. She grew up in auction houses, museums, art fares and
exhibitions. Her experience has led her to assume the role of « Galerie
Bailly Contemporain » director.
The gallery guideline relies on open-mindedness : new forms of creativity
associated with the soundness of Modern Art. Thereby, the gallery aims
at becoming a new corner stone for every art collectors and generations
of contemporary artists. Above all, its main goal is to initiate a new
dynamic by underlining a strong will to discover and accompany young
contemporary artists, famous or not, in France and worldwide.
