Description and orientation

Since 1987, the Bailly Gallery built itself a reputation on the international art market. It rhymes with modern, old Master paintings expertise and important discoveries thanks to Charles Bailly, one of the most famous art dealer and discoverer in old master paintings. Today, the gallery takes a brand new direction under the impulse of Charles Bailly�s daughter and gets involved in Modern and Contemporary art. H�l�ne Bailly was raised among artists and her experience has naturally led her to assume the role of � Galerie Bailly Contemporain � director. By cultivating voluntarily a discrepancy with its other colleagues the gallery guideline relies on open-mindedness : new forms of creativity associated to the soundness of Modern Art. Fully aware of its geographical location and its Fine Art legacy, the gallery aims at generating a new dynamic by underlining a strong will to discover and accompany young contemporary artists, famous or not, in France and worlwide. Eventually this attitude reveals a strong desire to turn the gallery into an art centre propitious to exchanges, discoveries and mobility.
